What happens when you get a 'one missed call' message on your cellphone and hearing a very strange ringtone with it? Now, what when you find out that this missed call is from several days in the future, letting you hear your final words before you die? That's what "Chakusin Ari" is all about: one of the more original twists on the "Ringu"-premise.
Great job by Miike whose first try at this genre it is. Contains probably the best death scene ever put in a movie.
