Review of One Million Years B.C. (1966) by Justin G — 03 Aug 2007
Hammer remake of 1939 film is a watchable slice of 60's cheese. Battles with ferocious dinosaurs are given in exchange for story or character developement; which is fine considering special effects pioneer Ray Haryhausen is responsible for bringing the prehistoric behemoths to life.
Nearly silent role propelled Raquel Welch to stardom (or was it the bikini?).
