Review of One Million Years B.C. (1966) by Steve W — 11 Apr 2010
While watching this sort of wordless movie, another caveman film popped in my head, Quest For Fire. That one is better, if a tad more goofy, but the similarities are huge, and both pull off what they set out to do.
The Harryhausen effects are excellent, and the movie, without much dialogue, does become engrossing to a point, unfortunately, lots of the scenes of our heroes striking out on their own get ultra repetative.
