Robin Williams gives a very chilling performance in one of my favourite films of all time. His character Sy Parrish is truly one of the creepiest characters ever put on screen. His obsession with the Yorkins is the equivalent of a celebrity crush being taken too far to the point where he has every photograph of them on his wall.

We do relate to Sy's loneliness and desires in a strange way. We all get lonely and we crave something that we can't have.

I love the scene where Nina and Jake are talking about Sy and how he must have a girlfriend "and a mommy and daddy who love him", this is all told in voice over as we see Sy go to his flat, all alone. Some might argue that the "send him good thoughts" might be a bit cheesy, I think so to. That's my only flaw with this film.

The music is great, it almost sounds lonely much like the character of Sy.

The best part of the film is when Sy threatens Will and the woman he's having an affair with, we've never seen Robin Williams do that before.

Overall this movie and Robin Williams' performance is a brilliant. Highly recommended. Oh, and the Neon Genesis toy was a nice cameo.
