Review of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975) by Ibraheem M — 03 Aug 2014
"One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest" features a powerful plot filled with shocking surprises and solid acting from the patients, especially from Nicholson who delivers an outstanding performance as Randle McMurphy.
You can conclude from the conflict between him and nurse Ratched that not all mental institutions can help patients get better, some may make patients' conditions even worse, with no McMurphy trying to make them feel like the ordinary people on the streets rather than lunatics.
