Review of One Fine Day (1996) by Kieran F — 22 Feb 2013
I'm Normally not a fan of love stories or Romances. Usually I find them boring and alot of times they all seem to have the same feeling of "Been there done that" or are "Recycled" plots man and woman fall in love man and woman are opposites(old story of Opposites attract) yadda yadda yadda.
But this film I...surprisingly enjoyed. I remember first seeing it for on my TV as a commercial while I was watching Home alone 2. Finding it interesting I decided to check it out. And actually I don't regret it.
Now that's not saying it was an amazing film or is one of those "Greatest love stories ever" etc. But it was actually enjoyable for me and even to this day I like it. Now that's not to say it's one of those films that I'll rush out and buy right away or put on my DVD player RIGHT away but I will watch it from time to time and enjoy it.
I might not enjoy it IMMENSELY but I find enough enjoyment in the film to watch it and be able to keep watching it. I think the biggest reason is cause of Pfeiffer(who I will be the first to say is a BEAUTIFUL woman then and now) and Clooney's chemistry.
It's really good and fun to watch. But other then that the film is too clechie to watch over and over again or to be like I said one of those greatest romances ever thing.
