Review of One Crazy Summer (1986) by Josh G — 06 Jun 2007

Although Bobcat Goldthwaite is undoubtedly the Brad Pitt of the '80s, this movie still fails to deliver. Holland's movie is known by most as the unofficial sequel to BETTER OFF DEAD. Maybe it's unfair to compare the two, but it's impossible not to -- and where BETTER OFF DEAD excelled, ONE CRAZY SUMMER falters.

It's a real let-down, although a few good jokes help. But not much.
