Review of Ondine (2010) by Maria Z — 07 Sep 2010
Nice little film, I suppose you could call it a fairy tale, I liked the quiet, small nature of it, with all the customs of the irish town, ferrell is good here, and I kno hes made some shitty movies, but as hes said, and I believe him, that hes turned a new page and is doing more serious work and turning in better performances, also the girl who played ondine was good, and of course its great to see stephen rea from the crying game, another great film, show up as the priest, only complaint was that it resorted to the old plot point of the guy getting mad at his girlfriend for no reason, driving her away, then trying to get her back, but other than that it was enjoyable.
