Review of Ondine (2010) by Arigbede O — 26 Sep 2010
Fisherman, Syracuse (Colin Farrell) finds an unusual catch with his fish, a mysterious woman named Ondine (Alicja Bachleda). While Syracuse's daughter Annie (Alison Barrey) with kidney problems starts to get close top Ondine and believes there's something special about her. Syracuse of course starts to fall for her as well. Ondine isn't safe though, since bad people are looking for her.
Ondine isn't the best film I've seen, there's nothing really bad about it though. Farrell and Bachleda work well together, but I never bought that she might be a mythical creature from the sea. Alison Barry is a delight though and lights up the screen.
