Review of Ondine (2010) by Eric M — 19 Apr 2012
An ill little girl, a drunken mother, and an unlucky fisherman that pulls a mysterious woman from the sea.
That is the premise of this Irish tale, which feels very authentic - from the grey-green scenery to the hushed, dulcet tones of Farrell's real voice.
The movie lazily lilts forward at it's own pace - being neither awful nor remarkable.
I wanted it to have a bit more gusto - but it was all a bit flat through and through.
