Review of Once Upon a Time in the West (1968) by Ben B — 10 Jul 2011
Such a great Western. It is a long one at 2:45, but it holds your attention every step of the way. Great screenplay, and an all-star cast. It draws from many other films, and other films draw from it; and in that way, Leone arguably crafted the first post-modern film.
A brilliant piece of work and definitely a must-see.
