Review of Once Upon a Time in the West (1968) by Cesar A — 19 Feb 2010
The best Western ever made, Once Upon a Time in the West is Sergio Leone's masterpiece. With a stellar cast and a plot which reveals itself layer by layer, the seemingly long run-time seems to float by in but a glance.
The tense but delicate performances by all involved, but especially by Henry Fonda and Charles Bronson, punctuate just how great an achievement this film is.
