Review of Once Upon a Time in the West (1968) by Mohiy E — 02 Dec 2009
Utterly superb film. The direction, the acting, the script, the music - everything is spot-on perfect. Claudia Cardinale is wonderful, even when the camera is making just the extra bit sure that we've noticed that she's a beautiful woman.
Robards stands out in a wonderful role as Cheyenne, while Henry Fonda's impossibly blue eyes do nothing to soften the utterly horrible (but brilliant) Frank.
