Review of Once Upon a Time in the West (1968) by Alex W — 22 Dec 2009

I love this film.. sergio leone brought out the best of him in every film.. but this one is incredible.. one if the best western films in history, because I personally consider the good, the bad and the ugly better than this film..

Incredible how nearly every scene is taken out from some of the best western films and this just turns out to be like a "best of the best"..

Great scenes, like: the eternal waiting for the train part, the killing of mcbain when the camera slightly turns to show frank's (henry fonda's) face, robards' entry in the tavern and his "duel" with bronson.. I could go on and on, but there are too many..

I'll just remind that we have,in this film, one of the best soundtracks ever made.. thank you ennio morricone!!
