Review of Once Upon a Time in the West (1968) by Wezul S — 18 Dec 2013
Leone really builds upon his Dollars Trilogy & take it to eleven in this separate-yet-similar followup. Using mild-mannered Fonda against cast as a ruthless killer is a bold move that completely works.
Again sound, style, & mood are more important than actually storyline, but really, who cares. It's wildly entertaining to watch the manliest of men try to out-man each other for almost three hours.
