Review of Once Upon a Time in the West (1968) by Interfan841 . — 23 Jan 2011
A sweeping and grand epic of a western. Another Sergio Leone masterpiece that amazes and stuns. Even though it starts off slow, it repays the viewer in dividends as the story progresses with a very satisfying and fulfilling ending that wraps up the story very well.
it has now become one of my favorite Westerns that I will enjoy for years to come. Henry Fonda, Charles Bronson, Jason Robards, and the stunning Claudia Cardinale all do an excellent job. The movie's score by Ennio Morricone is also one of the best I've ever heard.
Highly highly recommended!!
