Review of Once Upon a Time in Mexico (2003) by Joe B — 26 Mar 2009
Violent... pulpy.... bloody.... ridiculous as far as realism goes.... and somehow amazingly fun and enjoyable.
Think of it as a spaghetti western meets... I dunno, Pulp Fiction.
overall, not an incredible movie by any means, but a damn good movie.
Johnny Depp gives an halerious performance, and Antonio Banderas is suprisingly bad-ass, but Pop Star Engriqua Englsias (or however you spell his name) was not needed!
