Review of Once Upon a Time in Mexico (2003) by Richard H — 28 Mar 2009
This is the final part of the once upon a time in mexico trilogy and is quite awesome but lacks that something that deperado had, while the action kicks ass again.
*spoilers*.
But its the loss of salma hayek which is the major flaw with this film she gave so much energy to desperado and just felt like a normal action film with out he.
The look is brilliant and the dvd for this and other 2 are essential viewing for young filmmakers because Rodriguez guides you how to do what he does for a price and still make it look good.
Overall a great trilogy and the dvds are must owns for any cinephile.
