Review of Once Upon a Time in Mexico (2003) by Alex C — 19 Jul 2009
I love this movie to death with its fantastic action and a performance from Johnny Depp that equals Jack Sparrow. It's just a bit short on plot and the final battle isn't much of a battle. I understand this is because the Mexican government would not allow Rodriguez the use of their tanks because a rogue general is one of the villains.
It is a marvelous bit of shoot 'em up from Robert Rodriguez.
