Review of Once Upon a Time in Mexico (2003) by Jeffrey M — 23 Apr 2011
Rodriguez went all out for his final entry into the Mariachi Trilogy. An interesting story that sets up more than a simple good vs. bad guy scenario, instead aiming for characters of various motivations, with often ambiguous loyalties.
The action is just as, if not more, over-the-top as other Rodriguez films, and is well suited by its' fantastic cast, with Johnny Depp stealing the screen.
