Review of Once Upon a Time in America (1984) by Michael H — 18 Apr 2010
The most appealing point of this epic tale that Sergio Leone brings towards is his ability to attracted viewers who love a film built in with crime, romance, drama and its touching story. It appeals to nearly everyone.
To me it drags for nearly 4 hours which I took dissapointly because I dont mind a long film, but too long is quite irratating. But apart from that its setting and the story which spans over 40 years from a young man to an old man with flashbacks and flash forwards along with us getting to know the story as we go along is a great because it delievers a wondeful tale.
Wouldnt call it one of my favourite of gangster flicks but its good and worth watching despite its long periods of filming.
