Review of Once Upon A Mattress (2005) by Giffy G — 23 Jul 2008
Captivating and enjoyable. There were some moments that were poorly transferred from the stage to the screen (such as "The Swamps of Home"), but this is a movie I would gladly show to my children.
It has a solid moral, without resorting to restrictive gender norms or homophobia. Moreover, one of our heros is an unwed pregnant woman. The movie is quite fun.
