Interesting "modern day" musical. And by musical, it does not have scenes of a happy town singing and dancing in the streets. The songs are written and sung by either one or two of the main actors.
The film has a slow pacing throughout and it took a little getting used to for me. A lot of folk/rock/alternative songs, which isn't really my genre, though I really enjoyed 2 of the songs. The film has a feel of a live documentary, and the story leaves you wanting to see what the outcome is for the characters.
