Review of Once (2007) by Juli R — 31 Jul 2011
Not much happens in this film about a busker and a pianist in Dublin. But its simplicity is part of its charm. It was shot on a very low budget, which makes it seem kind of like a home movie. It doesn't spell everything out, but trusts you to figure out what's been left unsaid.
Will leave you feeling hopeful about role of friendship in attaining one's creative goals.
