It's not often that a film truly captures the subtlety and nuances of a blossoming relationship. It doesn't has complicated camerawork of past musical films like Dreamgirls, Nine, and Chicago but truth be told, it doesn't need it.
The music in the film is perfection and transcends anything you've seen from past Broadway musical adaptations in recent years. It is a beautiful film that embraces its simplicity and will win over your heart like none other.
One of the best pictures of 2007.
