Review of On the Waterfront (1954) by Fritz F — 17 Apr 2015
An absolute classic masterpiece.
What starts out slow turns into a really engaging and important story with a symbolic message.
The acting, especially by Brando, was outstanding.
Elia Kazan directed this perfectly.
The screenplay was great and all the characters were well handled.
Overall this is a must see masterpiece.
For a 1954 film, it's impeccable.
