Review of On the Town (1949) by Christine H — 04 Aug 2007
Such a fun movie! The casting is great all-around. Sinatra and Gene Kelly were truly wonderful together and Jules Munshin is tragically unremembered today for his brilliant character roles. I'm not the biggest Vera-Ellen fan, but she pulls it off in this film.
Another example of MGM excellence.
