Review of On the Town (1949) by Lucy M — 01 Dec 2009
When you have Gene Kelly in a musical, it's bound to be good. Add to it Frank Sinatra, Betty Garrett, Jules Munshin and Ann Miller and you're bound to have a really great film! Add to it a Gene Kelly and Stanley Donen direction and choreography, and Leonard Bernstein music and you have a masterpiece.
Too good.
