Andrzej Zulawski's interrupted sci-fi epic Na Srebrnym Globie is an equally enigmatic and fascinating watch even in it's incomplete and patched up state. What remains of the fragmented plot is deeply cloaked in apocalyptic, religious imagery and further convoluted through the often incomprehensible dialogue, the frantic ravings of the actors clashing profoundly with the serene beauty of Andrzej Jaroszewics cinematograhy, relying heavily on wide lens shots and some really superb angles.
Zulawski also weaves his own failure to complete the movie into the narrative, bringing an initially probably unintended political dimension into the picture, having a most powerful, even strongly emotional, impact in the final reel.
