Review of On the Beach (1959) by Robert L — 16 Nov 2007
I'm a sucker for apocalyptic, end-of-the-world doomsday films, and this one doesn't disappoint. After a nuclear war, the remaining population of the world reside in Australia, until they find out that they only have a few weeks until the radioactive clouds find their way on shore, wiping out mankind for good.
The ending is a real chiller. Recommened for those that like movies with no hope whatsoever.
