I think this is a fun, humorous family film, especially if you have children. I enjoyed telling my kids how my grandmother used to sing the songs to me. This was filmed in 1951, but was set in approximately 1917, which created opportunities for enjoyable conversations about "the olden days.
" Some of the social concepts are outdated, obviously, but we talked about that too.
