Review of On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969) by Melanie D — 26 Sep 2011
It is a long narration of James Bond story in the motion picture - 2 hours! Though it has an interesting story and setting, it has some boring parts. Telly Savalas was effective and nice as Ernst Blofeld character while we are introduce again to one of the most beautiful Bond girl, Diana Rigg as Countess Teresa di Vicenzo in which she did great.
Well, George Lazenby's acting is so-so, I think he gave a punch in giving a new characterization of James Bond. Lois Maxwell as Moneypenny has a moment of limelight in this movie which is nice. I wish they made a theme song for this movie even not as the same movie title just to follow the tradition of the films which was broken years later after this movie.
