Review of On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969) by Sean N — 09 Jun 2010
This is by far the best bond movie of them all. strongly developed characters and quite a excellent pick for the lead character.
the movie has its weak points. some of the effects are silly and some of the plot ideas are a bit goofy.
a huge part of the reason why this film is so good is the cinematography.
I would also say lazenby suits the character quite well. much more believable in a fight than even craig.
the music in this film is also quite interesting. the bond theme treated to a heavy dosage of early synthesizer music.
a must see at christmas time for a true bond fan.
