Review of On Golden Pond (1981) by Scott M — 10 Jul 2008
A depressing, yet sweet look at growing old together. Hepburn's voice was a little annoying, but her and Fonda acted as an actual married couple. Not the average role for Dabney Coleman as he plays a nice guy for a change.
Jane Fonda was foxy, but I wish they would've been more detailed on why she had daddy issues. My parents hate this film for all of its language, and there really is a lot of cursing, but Henry Fonda played the crotchety old man perfectly.
Good movie, but a little slow (like an old person).
