Review of On Golden Pond (1981) by Keenan S — 12 Oct 2012
On Golden Pond is a great drama about bonding, friendship, fear of aging, and family problems. While it has a simplistic storyline, the cast makes the film so much deeper and makes the film emotional in the process.
This was also the last film of actor Henry Fonda who gives a wonderful, funny performance. Katharine Hepburn is great as usual, while Jane Fonda is also fantastic, especially involving scenes with her father since this film was partially a real life reflection of their family issues.
On Golden Pond is a beautiful film to say the least.
