Review of On Golden Pond (1981) by Dylan D — 04 Jul 2006
It was such a joy to see Henry Fonda in his last film. It was just sad to know that a great actor like him died shortly after filming. I was pleased to hear that he won the Academy Award for his performance although he wasn't able to accept it.
I really loved his performance as I did Katharine Hepburns and Jane Fonda's. I just thought the story was inspiring, at how two people could stay together through all of the tough times they have been through.
On Golden Pond is destined to become a perennial classic in my opinion and it is one of the best that I've seen.
