Review of On Deadly Ground (1994) by Quecuatzl K — 10 Feb 2010
On Deadly Ground is just like one big social statement on big, evil companies. Seagal now plays an environmental agent in touch with his Eskimo/Native American side who is almost killed by the CEO of the big oil company he works for(Aegis Oil Company) when they find out Seagal's friend has a floppy disk containing information about defective equipment on Aegis-1, Aegis Oil Company's big project which must be finished in 13 days or else the land will be returned to it's Eskimo predecessors.
The dialogue wasn't half bad, and the actors played their characters well. The one thing this movie lacked, was big action, which didn't mainly come until the end. Besides that Steven Seagal pretty much did his job On Deadly Ground.
Rental.
