A delighfully tuneful version of the Dickens' classic. Ron Moody steals the show as the rascally Fagin, but there are wonderful performances all around. Oliver Reed is a truly evil Bill Sikes, while Shani Wallis is heartwrenching as Nancy.
Jack Wild is delightful as the puckish Artful Dodger, while Mark Lester solidly handles the title role. With the rich performances, art direction and music, this is a classic film musical to be treasured.
