Review of Oliver! (1968) by Cliff C — 21 May 2014
Perhaps the best adaptation of the timeless Charles Dickens tale I've ever seen. The songs are as memorable as the colorful and enjoyable characters.
The world is huge with so much going on, it really makes the scenery and visuals pop. Oliver is an innocent character who's naivety is well portrayed. I particularly liked the character Fagin, whose performance was wonderfully over the top and clever.
I will gladly watch this movie again and again in the future.
