Ok, so the acting is top notch, the story (much like its predecessor) is compelling and it looks and feel brilliant. One problem... WHY? Why is there the need to remake already stellar movies into English speaking remakes? Who is watching these Asian movies and thinking "fuck I can't read AND watch, sod it let's just remake it"? It needs to stop.
The money used on this movie could've funded multiple indie films with originals narratives and fresh concepts. The film is good, because the source material was, but I just feel it's unnecessary.
