As horrendously plotted as it is plodding, this Oldboy is a solid piece of evidence for filmgoers opposed to remakes due to its sloppily edited, video game-esque fight scenes and one of the most injudicious and silly plot twists that'll leave you laughing your guts out for all the wrong reasons.
