I don't quite understand the super negative reviews, but I couldn't in all conscience give Old Boy a 10. It is an awesome movie. The whole getting kidnapped and imprisoned for 15 years and coming out as a bad ass was great. The cinematography awesome. The fight scenes, most realistic I've ever seen in a movie. My only real problem, the ending...
Everything from Dae Su banging his daughter, to Woo Jin's long drawn out explanation of why, to the stupid reason why, to the hypnosis subplot, just killed the ending for me.
Still all in all a solid movie.
