Review of Old Yeller (1957) by Sam Wise — 09 Apr 2009
Wait how is this getting bad ratings? every kid needs to see this at some point to prepare for the envitable death of a paint. It paints a wondeful picture of not just a pet but a part of the family that would sacriface himself out of love.
It also paints a picture of "down on the farm." that a lot of people can't understand anymore. There were no vets, no rabies shots in advance, that lead to hard choices we should be thankful we don't have to make today.
