What I liked: A few catchy tunes, the colors, the vistas, and most of all, Charlotte Greenwood as Aunt Eller. What I disliked: the pseudo-wholesomeness of this movie makes for such a bizarre film--either everything is over-the-top sugary sweet, or Judd is a peeping tom with violent fantasies.
Where's the nuance in character or narrative? These extreme pendulum swings make for one of the most uneven films I've ever seen.
