Review of Oklahoma! (1955) by Garrett C — 16 Aug 2011
It's a interesting mix of genres. A western movie with comedy and some great Rodgers Hammerstein songs that are laced through the whole thing. The dream sequence was far too drawn out and distracting from the main plot more then it should have.
Despite its many flaws it still stands out as a great musical in an different setting.
