Not a bad movie, but I didnâ??t feel it was anything special. Sure, the songs are fun and memorable, but I didnâ??t think I was watching anything amazing. Itâ??s overlong and I felt a lot of stuff could have been cut out.

Rod Steiger is a good actor, but he just seemed odd for the part. It certainly had a great feel to it though and the use of colors was amazing, but it was just far too stagey for a film. I thought it was pretty funny that after the huge drama that had taken place at the end of the film, the entire village pretty much gets over it after it about 30 seconds and return to great times and celebration.

Whatever though, itâ??s fine, but nothing great.
