Review of O'Horten (2007) by Monica F — 17 Jul 2010
I think I really like movies that portray people in their older age. I love to see what happens when they have a complete change on their life's routine at a point in life when most people think life is almost over.
It gives me a lot of hope to see that you can start a new life even if you are sixty or seventy, that you can still find love or move to a different country or start doing something totally different.
I also like character, nostalgic, and meditative movies. Their idea of examining someone's life is something I enjoy watching. Mainly if is well accomplished. I also love movies which scenes are shot against a snowy background, all that white gives them a texture that really appeals to me.
Really good movie, with nice pace and good performances. Somewhat slow for people who likes action.
