A ballzy social critique disguised as a sweet little movie about fandom in the muslim world. The guise was certainly necessary as I'm sure, and I've heard, that the Iranian government has been up Panahi's ass about everything and anything.
These are the filmmakers who should be applauded most for their perseverance... not the Hollywood hot shots working with the millions of dollar budgets. I missed this film at the NY FF last year, so I'm glad to see it on DVD.
An entralling film disguised as a cute one.
