Review of Of Mice and Men (1992) by Alex H — 29 May 2009
Good movie based on a great book. I'm not a big fan of reading but I did enjoy reading Of Mice and Men in my english class. Sure enough, after reading it, we watched the movie. It was good to see both shared the same plot, characters, and overall tone.
Of Mice and Men centers are George Milton and Lennie Smalls. They travel around as ranch hands and George takes care of Lennie because Lennie is mentally challenged. The plot is a lot deeper than that but I don't want to get into it all. All the actors did honorable jobs on thier book counterparts.
The movie isn't loaded with action or jokes but it's more about the interactions between characters. It keeps you entertained throughout and has one of the saddest endings in film. Definitely recommend you seek out this classic.
