Review of Odd Thomas (2013) by Anthony R — 15 Dec 2018
Odd Thomas is certainly that, and keeps tell you so. It seems a bit uneven, from the production quality which ranges from pretty good to direct-to-video. Some fairly big name stars and some supporting so-so acting. The tone of the movie vs the ending. The weird invisible creatures just seemed to distract from the movie, and didn't add to the plot.
Still, I was glued to the screen for most of this film, so it is entertaining. And I would say this, it sets you up for a sequel that I would actually want to watch, except for the fact that Yelchin actually died.
